ALTERNATIVE HISTORIES

Presented as fact in the form of the canon, history has been written and recounted from a singular perspective, imposing and perpetuating a systemic cycle of oppression that rewards the privileged at the expense of the majority. In an intervention with the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, we populated alternative narratives alongside conventional ones introduced by their permanent collection, positioning history as a nuanced spectrum of realities rather than unquestionable set of facts.
